Note to self #3

4 years........4 years..........Why did I give up writing? Was it the time or the patience or concentration? Was it technology? I need to begin again... I need to write again. 4 years....... is too long for writers block.

Note to Self #2: Remember and Follow "notes to self"

So, yeah, I posted a note to self back in January of 2006 about how depressing it was to just write about guys and be down all the time. What happened? Why didn't I follow my own advice. Ok, from here on out, an experiment in writing. I will find humor and write of it.

Random Short Thoughts

Thought #1:

I live the life of a sailor

wander on always free

Get up every morning

raise my arms to the sea

with the sun up above me

the rain falling down

I head out to the ocean

what a life, I have found.

Thought #2:

And the tears that I cry make the ocean rock

And the rain falls down with every single little drop

Til I'm drowning in the water I just want to stop

So hey, hey, hey, hey, hey

How do I make this go away

Thought #3:

I just put one foot in front of the other

Close my eyes and take a breathe

Let the pain inside of me settle

Cause I know it won't last forever.

Thought #4

It was the wind brought you in, dropped you in my life

It was the seas tore me down, make me not want to fight

It was the rain falling down, made me fall in love

It was your beautiful eyes, make us fit like a glove

And now you're gone from my life and I don't know how to breathe

And now you're a thousand miles away and its pain that I receive

And the moon high above is my only friend

And the stars all around are the kisses that I send

Til the morning comes around and a brand new day

To look in the mirror and think another fucking day

But the sun shining down gives me all I need

To look up at the sky and begin to plead

Just get me out of this place cause the days are getting longer

and everyday that you're away the pain gets stronger.
