A Blank Sheet of Paper

I look out my window
I see a butterfly
I reach out to touch it
It flies away I touch the sky
It's cool blue crystal clear
not a cloud in the sky
a cool breeze moves my hard
I close my eyes and think of you

And I can't help but wonder how
this world can be so sweet

I blink, the sky turns grey

the rain leaves a starry night
