Economics Class

Bound to a chair
bolted to the ground
encased in a room
eyes on the front
sleep not allowed
words on a page
pencil hits paper
dreams wile awake
a hot summer day
a cool autmun breeze
the leaves restle
the grass is soft
the sun brings warmth
the wind brings comfort
time has no meaning
no one is rusehd
days begin, days end
love flows freely
the great lawn
with a great friend
at total peace
little kids laughing
cotton candy
shapes in the clouds
dog chasing ball
cat laying down
picnic with subs
pasta salad and wine
dizzy good time
dancing in circles
shouting out loud
guitar on a fountain
sweet melody
sheer extascy
nap beneath a tree
worries all gone
awake to the starts
so many stars
next to a fire
blazing hot whisps
on a white sandy beach
walk on the beach
walking on velvet
lay in the water
swells that rock
chase each other
under the glare of the moon
sleep on the sand
on mothers soft blanket
warm to the core
breakfast in bed
hot chocolate and whipped cream
fireplace crackles
roasted like never before
mind refreshed body happy
sunday morning comics
the rain slowly falls outside
open armed flowers, smile
no where to be
a run in the rain
warm soft rain
followed by a relaxing
warm bath
candles and bubbles
champagne for two
wake up again
was never asleep
back inside those encased walls
is freedom not freedom
